Place ADX Indicator

This Tutorial will explain how to place the ADX indicator on Indices charts on the MT4 Platform. For Technical analysis: ADX Technical Analysis.

How to Place Stock Indices Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stock Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) and then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on the "Navigator" button key or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Stock Indices Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on stock indices chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Stock Indices Chart

Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double-click the ADX Button, and click ok to place the indicator on the chart as shown below:

Edit ADX Indices Technical Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right click on ADX, choose properties setting and then edit properties of technical indicator using pop up menu that appears & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop up appears & ADX settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
