Window Menu for Charts
The window menu in MetaTrader 4 platform is where you access any of the open charts: listed here & can also be accessed from here: besides, you as a trader can open a new chart, arrange and rearrange, Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically or even arrange them as Icons.
New Window
The new window panel option is the first item on this menu and is used to open new charts, by clicking this menu it'll show list of MT4 symbols that trader can trade with. Clicking any of the trading instrument below will display a new chart for that financial instrument.
Cascade Windows
To arrange panels in a cascaded format, use cascade button key which is the second option on the menu. An example of cascaded arrangement is displayed and illustrated below.
Tile Horizontally Trading Charts
The third option is Tile Horizontally Charts and this option will organize and arrange all the trading charts horizontally like shown in the examples illustrated below.
Tile Vertically Charts
The fourth option in window menu is Tile Vertically Charts & this option will organize and arrange all the trading charts vertically like as displayed and illustrated in the illustrations explained below.
Arrange Icons
The fifth option is the arrange icons option which will arrange all charts as icons like shown on the illustrations illustrated below.
Open Charts Listing
Next items are displayed as a list of the instruments represented, the chart currently on the workspace is checked on the left like is shown below. In the illustration explained and shown below option number 8, Indices is checked:
more windows option illustrated above also can be used to display a listing of the other opened financial instruments that are not on the listing numbered from 1 to 9. By pressing this more option the following popup will then appear within the MetaTrader 4 software and a trader can select any indices instrument from the popup.
To show any of the above listed financial instruments just click 'Activate' button to the right of this pop-up.
