Place Volumes Indicator on Stock Indices Chart in MT4

This Tutorial will explain how to place the Volumes Indicator on a Indices Chart in the MT4 Platform.

How to Place Indices Technical Indicators on MT4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Stock Indices Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it) and then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool-bar click on 'Navigator' button key or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On the Navigator panel, choose "Indicators", select Indicators (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indices Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Placing Volumes on a Stock Indices Chart

Step 1: Choose the Volumes button key on MT4 list of indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Volumes Button, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right click on Volumes Technical Indicator, choose properties setting & then edit property setting using pop up menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop-up appears and stock indices indicator settings can be edited from this panel popup.
