How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators in MT5 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it), then select ' MetaTrader 5 Navigator ' window panel (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on 'MT5 Navigator' button key or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator panel, select "Technical Indicators", (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand MT5 Stock Indices Trading Indicators Menu on Navigator Window

Expand MT5 indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in MT5 stock indices chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Stock Indices Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double-click the ADX Button Key, and click okay to place the indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit ADX Indices Trading Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right click on ADX, select properties setting and then edit properties of technical indicator using popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window panel popup pops up & ADX settings can be edited from this window popup.
