How to Place Indicators on MT4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) and then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on the "Navigator" button key or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Placing Standard Deviation Stock Indices Trading Indicator on a Indices Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Standard Deviation button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the Standard Deviations Button, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit Stock Indices Trading Indicator Setting

To Alter Settings, right click in Standard Deviation Technical Indicator, select property setting & then edit property setting using pop up menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop-up appears and Standard Deviation Trading Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
