How to Place Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stock Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) and then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on the "Navigator" button key or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Stock Indices Trading Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Placing Zigzag on Stock Indices Trading Chart

Step 1: Choose the Zigzag button key in the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Zigzag Button, & click okay to place it on chart as illustrated and shown below:

Edit Zigzag Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right click in Zigzag, choose property setting and then edit the property setting using the pop up menu that appears & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop up appears & the Zigzag settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
