Profiles & Saving a Profile in MetaTrader 4 Platform Software
In MetaTrader 4, it's worth saving your workspace, especially after setting up indicators and opening multiple charts. If you want to pick up tomorrow right where you left off, this guide will show you exactly how to save everything.
To save a workspace on MetaTrader 4 trading platform you'll use "Profiles" button, which is fourth selection on the "File" dropdown menu list - this button is illustrated and shown below:

From the above profile button, once you click this button, another sub-menu appears to the right like as illustrated above, to save your exact work-space as a profile, click "Save As" button shown above and name your profile, for example you can call it "My Workspace"

Saving Workspace in MT4 Platform Software
The next time you access the MetaTrader 4 trading platform and wish to load your saved "My Work Space" profile as a trader, you should navigate to the File Menu, then select Profiles, and subsequently pick "My Workspace." In this scenario, the current profile is already selected, indicated by a check mark. If a trader intends to switch to a different saved workspace or profile, such as the one labeled Swiss Franc or EUR in the previous example, they simply need to click on the desired profile's name to load it into the MT4 platform.
Loaded work-space "My Work Space" is also displayed at the bottom center of the MetaTrader 4 platform: (below $100,000 dollars account balance trade transaction window panel, below "Experts" tab, at the middle bottom position of MT4 software as is shown above).
